Customer confidence
We are proud that it was WLD that was entrusted to develop the official resource of this unique children’s cafe. The interior of the cafe is designed in the ‘Memphis Style’. We tried to maintain a visual connection with this unique interior while developing the website.
The Memphis Group was founded by designers Ettore Sottsass, Andrea Branzi and Michele De Lucchi on December 11, 1980 in Milan. Its name was taken from Bob Dylan’s song ‘Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again’ which they listened to that evening. The group did not last long, only until 1988, but this period was vivid and memorable for the world design
Process
The development process went according to the classical algorithm: review of the competitive environment, design, development of the client part, development of the server part, testing, input the data.
Methodologies
An iterative approach has been widely used to reduce project time with the help of which the development of the server part began in parallel with most of the work on the client part and website appearance. This allowed placing all the programming including testing into just 2 weeks.
Platform
The website is developed on the ModX platform. It provides convenient and intuitive content management tools and allows achieving the high download speed and searching engine loyalty.
This allowed the resource to take leading positions in organic search without additional promotion and optimization.
Proven Development Quality
Traditionally for us the client part was written ‘from scratch’ without using ready-made libraries that allowed us to achieve high Google’s Search Quality Rating – the Page Speed of the main page with the background image is 96/100.
